Hi everyone! I’m so excited that I finally launched this website and am able to share all of my thoughts and opinions with all of you!  This seemed like something I would just talk about but never do, and yet it’s actually really happening.  This is insane.

So, enough ranting.  About me– I’m 17 years old and currently go to High School in the US. Besides school, I love to read, write, play basketball, and comment on the political state of affairs without actually DOING anything about it.  I’m hoping this blog might solve the last part.

A little bit on my worldviews– I’m pro-gay marriage and LGBTQ+ rights, but I’m not gay.  I’m pro-choice, but would never get an abortion.  I’m anti-Trump, but don’t particularly feel strongly about any other politician in all of America.  I’m pro-JK Rowling, but I’m not 100% sure on all of her political views, I just think it’s great that she stands up for what she believes in and uses her platform for a purpose.

On a less serious note, I also run a book blog, Write Through the Night, so if you’re interested, go check it out!

Hello! I’m a college student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (one of the presidential debates was hosted at my college!). I’ve always liked learning about US government, but I never related it to my real life. Last year, I was finally able to vote, so I did. Voting for the first time plus the aftermath of the election made me realize that I don’t know enough about politics. So, I made it one of my goals this year to learn more and voice my thoughts!

My worldview: I’m a fan of the LGBTQ+ rights, pro-choice, and sustainability (environmental, social, and economic)! That mix matching different ideas from various parties doesn’t make you traitor, and we can learn from others who have different opinions than us.
